Sunday, December 10, 12 – 2 PM Pastor Beth’s Coffee Fellowship – Pastor Beth is tearing up the carpet at the parsonage. . .so. . . she is hosting a special Coffee Fellowship. Come enjoy soup, chili, and more Christmas cookies than you can count!
Saturday, December 16, 1 PM Christmas Caroling. Meet at the church at 1 PM to head out around town caroling to some of our church friends and family. Folks really enjoy these special visits, so please join the group if you can!
Sunday, December 17, 3 PM Community Christmas Cantata First Presbyterian Church, Church Street, Gouverneur will be the site for this annual gift to the Gouverneur community. Plenty of parking behind the church as well as the handicapped accessible entrance.
Thursday, December 21, 7 PM Longest Night/Blue Christmas Service, Brown Chapel. Sometimes it is hard to feel as “joyful” as everyone else seems to be during this season, especially if you are dealing with grief, sadness and loss. Come and join us in this sacred space where we acknowledge this struggle together, and find hope and strength in the promised Christ child.
Sunday, December 24, 11 AM and 7 PM – Christmas Eve. Join us for worship filled with song, scripture, drama, dance and candlelight as we celebrate the birth of Jesus! At 11 AM, children will be invited to join in our impromptu pageant – no rehearsal required! At 7 PM, we’ll celebrate with Holy Communion. Hope to see you there!
