Why do I sit on the organ bench each Sunday? My prayer is that the music assists the worshipper in coming closer to God and to present music that compliments the worship/liturgy theme and hymns chosen by our Pastor. I am Glenda Schuessler; I serve as Organist for First UMC as well assisting with several other ministries of the church. I am married to Don; together we have 4 grown children and 3 grandchildren. Reading and gardening are some of my favorite past-times (well, yes, and music too!). I am a passionate supporter of camping ministries in our UNY Conference and am an advocate for the Safe Sanctuaries programs.
